Rants and Raves - Body Shots 2008

I spent the whole day yesterday at Hyatt Casino Hotel in Pedro
Gil, Manila. I was invited by VINCE REYES of EXECUTIVE DECISIONS and FDAP to take part in the event and basically do some coverage.

It was the final screening of Body Shots 2008, the premiere modelling competition of the country. The contest took a Haidas for almost 3 years but is now back with a vengeance. Judging from yesterday's turn out, it will be a very competitive batch of contestants they have this year.

A total of 13 women and 14 men were selected from a pool of more than 200 as official candidates for this year's search. Bodyshots 2008 is being presented by Megaworld and Nesvita among others. Not to forget, Models can be friendly too!

Life - Preppy Patrol

Someone asked me once, what kind of style do I have when it comes to dressing up. That took some pondering before I could come up with an answer. My style = Preppy
It is characterized as a person whose manner and dress are deemed typical of traditional preparatory schools. So basically that is my style, and since it's summer, everyone is wearing shorts.

In the near future, I shold start showing you glimpses of my style on this blog. But that is in the future when I have saved enough courage to actually post pictures of myself on here. Until that happens, ask yourself...what is your style?

This post was inspired by another blog that is a must read: http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/

Life - April Fool's Day

Last April 1, I attended a cocktail party held at Casino Filipino. Diplomats, Government officials, Businessmen, Bodyguards and the Chairman of PAGCOR were in the same room.

It was really humbling to be surrounded by such powerful people but the highlight of the evening was running into my new crush, Karla Henry for the 4th time this year!!

I have known Miss Henry 3 months ago when I met her in another cocktail event ( coincidence anyone), and I automatically grew fond of her. She attended this event as she was the Official representative of Cebu City for the upcoming Miss Philippines Earth.

Of course other beautiful lasses were also there representing various provinces in the Philippines as well as Filipino Communities abroad.

Anyways back to Karla, I wish her all the luck and she already has my vote, always has and always be!
